Equity Funds invest at least 65% of their net assets into equity and equity related instruments. Based on their investment style they are classified as Large cap, Small cap and mid cap funds. Other funds are categorized as Diversified Equity Funds, Sector or Thematic Funds, Index Funds, Exchange Traded Funds and Equity Linked Savings Schemes.
